MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking. The 96V solar charge controller is based on MPPT technology. rMPPT is a calculation built into charge controllers to extract the maximum available power from a PV module under specific conditions.

The UTL 96V solar charge controller is a fully electronic system that adjusts the operating point of the solar modules so that the modules can deliver the maximum available power.

The extra power harvested from the modules is then made available as increased battery charge current. With rMPPT technology the charge efficiency can be increased by up to 30%, reducing the size of the array required and saving on installation costs.

There are four models in 96V solar charge controller with different current ratings:

• 96V 30A Solar Charge Controller – It supports 3kW 360V of solar panels.
• 96V 40A Solar Charge Controller – The 96V 40A solar charge controller supports a maximum 4kW, 360V solar panel load.
• 96V 50A Solar Charge Controller – This 50A solar charge controller supports 5kW 360V solar panels.
• 96V 60A Solar Charge Controller – The 96V 60A solar charge controller supports a maximum 6kW, 360V solar panel load.
